Possessive Adjectives
The possessive adjectives (my, your, his, etc) are pronouns suffixed to nouns to denote possession. These pronouns are attached and are different from the attached ones you learned earlier.

Lets take the word كتاب and suffix the possessive adjectives to it. The result will be the following table.

Note that for "my", there is a ــِـ before the ي, whereas for the others there is a ــُـ. This ــُـ is variable and will change into a ــِـ after a preposition for example.
